Shipping Policy

Shipping & Processing

At Harbour & Stem, every order is thoughtfully prepared by hand from our small studio in Kincardine, Ontario. We take care in packaging each plant and product to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully.

Processing Times

  • In-stock items typically ship within 2–5 business days

  • Custom or made-to-order items may require additional processing time

  • During restocks, launches, or holidays, processing times may be slightly extended

 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Locations

 

We currently ship within Canada.

At this time, live plants are shipped only within Canada due to customs and agricultural regulations.

Shipping Carriers

 

Orders are shipped primarily through:

  • Canada Post

  • UPS

  • Purolator

 

Carrier selection may vary depending on package size, destination, weather conditions, and plant safety considerations.

Local Delivery & Pickup

 

Local pickup or delivery options may occasionally be available within the Kincardine and surrounding area. Availability will be noted at checkout when applicable.

Plant Shipping Disclaimer

 

Live plants are carefully inspected and packaged before shipping. Minor cosmetic imperfections, slight soil shifting, or mild stress from transit can occur and are considered a normal part of shipping live plants.

 

Harbour & Stem is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by carriers

  • Weather-related shipping delays

  • Packages left unattended after delivery

  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout

 

If your plant arrives with significant damage, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of:

  • The plant

  • Packaging

  • Shipping label

 

We will review concerns on a case-by-case basis.

Weather Considerations

 

To protect plant health, shipping may occasionally be delayed during periods of extreme heat or cold. We may also recommend upgraded shipping during severe weather periods.

Lost or Delayed Packages

 

Once a package has been handed to the carrier, delivery timelines are outside of our control. If your package appears lost or significantly delayed, please reach out and we will do our best to assist with the carrier investigation process.
